TITLE: Site Coordinator - Reeds Spring Primary School Site
REPORTS TO: Unit Director
STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $9.00 - 9.95 Hourly

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Oversee the delivery of a broad range of programs and activities within a designated Site, such as Education, Technology, Character and Leadership Development, Health and Life Skills, Fitness and Recreation and Arts and Crafts. Supervise and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Youth for Success
- Plan and oversee the administration of designated Unit programs and activities in the Five Core Program Areas and that support Youth Development Outcomes.
- Plan and organized special events/programs on the Unit level for Club members, families, volunteers, etc.
- Establish Unit program objectives consistent with the organizational goals and mission.
- Ensure quality in day-to-day programs and activities.
- Maintain that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive instruction to develop skills.
Supervision
- Train and monitor staff in the delivery of constructive criticism and positive discipline techniques to members.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism to members, staff and volunteers.
- Work with staff members to ensure that program areas are safe, that equipment in maintained in good working condition and that repair needs are reported immediately.
- Assign work to staff and volunteers while providing ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Support training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings.
Program Development
- Continually evaluate Club programs, reporting results according to established deadlines and addressing gender or cultural needs of members.
- Collect data and prepare regular reports as needed for programs, funding sources and other projects.
- Control Unit program and activity expenditures within approved budget, as delegated by the Unit Director.
- Oversee proper record keeping including daily attendance, program participation, achievement, problems/issues, etc.
Marketing and Public Relations
- Increase visibility of Club programs via posting daily schedules, announcement of upcoming events and dissemination of timely information to schools, other organizations and the media through the Administrative Office.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May oversee specific programs/activities (Keystone Club, Torch Club, etc.).
- May participate in organizational programs and/or events.
- May be required to drive Club van and/or bus.
- May consult with parents concerning members and Unit issues.
- May handle deposits or banking transactions on occasion.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for guidance and discipline of members in situations beyond the authority of Program Aides.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of youth development.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Group leadership skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Missouri State Drivers License.
- May be required to drive Club van and/or bus. (Club may provide the cost for acquiring a Class E, CDL or other specialized operator’s license as required).
TITLE: Program Assistant - Reeds Spring School Site

SALARY RANGE: $7.30 - 8.00 Hourly
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Plan, facilitate, supervise and evaluate activities provided for members involved in School Site Programs, including arts & crafts, homework help, fitness & recreation, field trips, etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively supervise members in activities inside and/or outside of the facility.
- Ensure members’ safety and well-being at all times by adhering to Club and school policies and procedures.
- Promote and stimulate participation in programs and activities.
- Provide guidance and role-modeling to members.
- Effectively implement activities for large, drop-in activities and/or small group programs.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Maintain communication with Site Coordinator and other staff members regarding concerns/issues.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including member participation, pre- and post-testing scores, program evaluations, accident reports, etc.
- Report to work on time and fully prepared.
- Complete honest and accurate time sheets by established deadlines.
- Maintain appearance of quality of Club facilities and equipment by completing daily, weekly and/or periodic cleaning and maintenance assignments.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May participate in special programs and/or events.
- May be required to meet and/or communicate directly with classroom teachers regarding member needs/accomplishments.
- Maintain high standard of customer service in dealing with members, parents, volunteers, other staff members and the general public.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. (High School diploma or GED, preferred).
- Some experience in working with children, preferably school-aged children.
- Basic knowledge of youth development.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior challenges.
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and implement programs/activities for youth.
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Missouri State Drivers License, if operating Club vehicles.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Plan, facilitate, supervise and evaluate activities provided for members involved in Power Hour programs, including enrichment activities, homework help, high-yield learning activities, educational field trips, etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively supervise members in activities inside and/or outside of the facility.
- Ensure members’ safety and well-being at all times by adhering to Club and school policies and procedures.
- Record and track member participation points and attendance for educational programs.
- Promote and stimulate participation in programs and activities.
- Provide guidance and role-modeling to members.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Maintain communication with Program Director and other staff members regarding concerns/issues.
- Communicate directly with classroom teachers for the purpose of collecting homework folder information for all grade levels.
- Assist Program Director with the collection and analysis of grade cards/testing data.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including member participation, pre- and post-testing scores, program evaluations, accident reports, etc.
- Report to work on time and fully prepared.
- Complete honest and accurate time sheets by established deadlines.
- Maintain appearance of Club facilities and equipment by completing daily, weekly and/or periodic cleaning and maintenance assignments.

- Must be able to participate in physical activities throughout the facility, on the property and/or on field trips.
